This Sunday, January 26, 2025, all of Brittany is on Orange Weather alert. Ille-et-Vilaine for floods, Morbihan for rain-floods, Finistère and Côtes d’Armor for wind. In Ille-et-Vilaine, the Ille, the llet, the Meu, the Vilaine upstream, the Seiche and the Vilaine median are classified as Orange alert by Vigicrues. Rennes town hall has issued an order to evacuate certain areas affected by rising waters.

The night was difficult for some Rennais. The Ille overflowed its banks and the municipality issued an evacuation order for certain streets where the water was rising dangerously. Rue Jean Claude Camors and avenues Doctor Roger Maruel, Camille Godet and Alphonse Jarry were evacuated.
Residents were asked to leave their homes.

Constant-Véron Gymnasium, located at 1 rue Constant-Véron.
Around twenty people found refuge at the Constant-Véron gymnasium.
