The film synopsis
The story focuses on Lola, a thirty -year -old woman living in Paris. She works as a pharmacist and leads a relatively stable life. However, Lola faces a “problem”: her close friends are starting to get married one after the other.
Although she has always made fun of the aspects she considers ridiculous in marriage, Lola also finds himself to desire this experience. She wants proof of concrete love on the part of her partner, Arthur, and for her, this proof is marriage.
Arthur, out of love for Lola, ended up accepting the idea of marriage, even if he was not particularly enthusiastic at the start. What was to be a simple and quiet ceremony begins to take unexpected proportions.
As the preparations argue, which was supposed to be an intimate event turns into something larger, more expensive and more stressful. The situation is more complicated when the family is involved in the organization.
-The film explores tensions, disagreements and comic moments that occur when planning what should be “the best day of their lives”. It highlights the challenges the couple faces to maintain their original vision of marriage in the face of external pressures and family expectations.
