In a worrying incident, the bus carrying Millonarios players was attacked, causing injuries to goalkeeper Iván Arboleda, who suffered a serious blow by a stone.
Following this attack, the división Mayor de Fútbol (Dimayor) announced that the match between Millonarios and Unión Magdalena would be reprogrammed. This match, which was originally to take place at the Sierra Nevada stadium in Santa Marta, was part of the first round of the Liga Dimayor I 2025.
Scheduled for Friday, January 24, the meeting was canceled after the Millonarios team bus was attacked, apparently by Santa Marta supporters. In addition to Arboleda, two other team members were also injured, although their injuries are not serious.
Despite Unión Magdalena’s requests to continue the match the next day, Millonarios refused, pushing Dimayor to decide to postpone the meeting.
