Suspected of a double murder in Calvados, a man arrested in Coquelles

A 30-year-old man, suspected of the double murder of a young couple in Normandy, was arrested during the night from Friday to Saturday, in Coquelles, after refusing to comply.

While trying to escape the police last night in Coquelles, the thirty-year-old ended up in street furniture. Suffering from back pain, he was transported to Calais hospital under police escort.

The man in question was actively sought after the discovery of the two bodies of Maëva and Martin this week in Normandy. A judicial investigation is open.
