What we know about death, deemed suspicious, of a fifties in Puy-en-Velay

Friday, January 24 around 8 p.m., police and firefighters intervened in a accommodation located at the bottom of rue Pierre-Farigoule, next to the Carrefour de Baccarat in Puy-en-Velay. A 56 -year -old man had just been found dead at his home.

The alert was given by the victim’s son. The doctor of the SAMU present on the spot laid a medico-legal obstacle to burial. The cause of death – seeming to come back to several hours – could not be determined with precision.

The police opened an investigation for researching the causes of death. At this stage, the track of a death of natural causes seemed privileged, but only the autopsy of the body will confirm it.
