Daniel Giroux fails in the Court of Appeal

In a decision published Friday, she considers that “the guilty verdicts are based on the evidence and they do not go against the judicial experience” experienced by Daniel Giroux.

In 2021, Mr. Giroux was sentenced to life in prison for the murder of his business partner, a crime committed in Bolton-Est, in Estrie.

One of his accomplices in this story, Stéphane Blanchard, will benefit from a new trial in 2026, the Court of Appeal decided earlier this month.
