Calcinated pieces of iron, soot everywhere and ribalizes the firefighters who prevents access to the site. There, more or less, what remains of the market at the Bagnolet scrap metal two days after a fire which ravaged a large part of the site. Tuesday, January 21, around 3 a.m., a fire devoured almost 1000m². The blaze led to a significant deployment of firefighters so that it does not spread to the other buildings in this dense district located on the edge of the device.
No victim is to be deplored but the adjoining furniture store was devoured by the flames. Inside, everything is black and the smell still acrid. We see here and there remains of beds or dressers. The back wall was almost entirely reduced to ashes. This Thursday, January 23 in the morning, the employees were hard at work to clean the damage.
