Behind the leading duo, the Ecuadorian Jhonatan Narvaez (UAE Team Emirates XRG) completes the podium. After the sprint, he expressed his dissatisfaction, feeling that he had been hampered in the last meters. The scenario of this fourth stage, marked by the demanding climb of Nettle Hill (1.9 km at 8.1%) 20 miles from the finish, was difficult to predict.
