La Victoire de Montréal will welcome the Boston Fleet to the Bell Center ice rink on March 1, the Professional Women’s Hockey League announced Thursday morning.
This match, the second to be nicknamed the ‘Duel at the Summit’ by the league, will take place at 2 p.m. at the home of the Montreal Canadiens.
Last year, the Montreal team’s match at the Bell Center established a new world record for a professional women’s hockey match, with 21,105 spectators attending.
“We are delighted to return to this iconic place and experience this incredible energy again. Our fans are the best in the LPHF, and we know that they will show up in large numbers to provide another unforgettable experience for everyone,” declared the general director of the Victoire, Daniè Sauvageau, in a press release.
-The Montreal team lost 3-2 to the Toronto team in the first ‘Duel at the Summit’ of the LPHF, on April 20, 2024.
La Victoire will play its next match on Wednesday, January 29 against the Ottawa Charge, at Place Bell.
