The firefighters, around fifty of whom intervened, were able to analyze the damage to the structure, before allowing the residents to return to their homes. A specialist clearing rescue unit was on site to secure the building. The windows of the house were thrown into thousands of fragments, several meters away.
On site, municipal police officers secured the neighborhood, as well as Réséda and GRDF. The mayor of Montigny, Jean-Luc Bohl, was also on site with one of his elected officials.
