Multi-championship defender Kyle Walker is set to leave Manchester City, having landed in Italy on Thursday (23) to undergo medicals and finalize a loan deal.

AC Milan have reached an agreement with Manchester City for the loan of Kyle Walker until the end of the season. According to reports from transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, the deal includes a non-obligatory purchase option worth five million euros, confirming that all terms have been settled.

In this way, Milan secures its first reinforcement during the European winter transfer market. Additionally, the player’s salary will be fully covered by the Italian club. Walker is expected to arrive in Italy on Thursday (23) to undergo medical tests and sign the contract.

This will mark Kyle Walker’s first experience outside of England, after seven and a half years at Manchester City. Last year he was close to a move to Bayern Munich, but the deal fell through.
