The KIA EV6 GT 2025 will arrive in the main European markets in the coming weeks, starting with Germany where its official price is already known.
After announcing last year an update to the design and technical specifications of the EV6, the South Korean manufacturer has just extended this renewal to the GT version of this electric crossover. This high-performance model now includes not only some technological improvements and a larger capacity battery which increases its autonomy, but also saw its price reduced by up to 3 thousand euros.
Technical improvements to the new EV6 GT are not uncommon. Its road performance has been enhanced with the incorporation of the propulsion system that we have already seen in the Hyundai IONIQ 5 N. In this way, its 77.4 kWh battery has been replaced, for the 84 kWh which equips the high performance model of Hyundai.
Likewise, the refreshed EV6 GT now offers 478 kW of combined power from its two electric motors, with 770 Nm of torque. What allows you reach 100 km/h from a standstill in just 3.5 seconds. This high-performance KIA model also borrows virtual gear shifting from the IONIQ 5 N, which is capable of simulating the change from one gear to another as if it were a combustion engine vehicle, in order to offer a much sportier experience. conduct.
More autonomy and greater charging power supported
The increase in battery capacity also resulted, as expected, in an increase in autonomy from 424 km to 450. Still under the WLTP approval cycle. KIA offers all these improvements in terms of performance, autonomy and equipment, in the renewed EV6 GT at an even lower price, which in Germany starts at 69.990 euros. A figure which was not chosen at random, since it qualifies this model in the German country for special taxation of company vehicles.
