This is a great event to discover to go to China while staying in Lille! Another year again, the Hauts-de-France Chinese community association is doing it again by organizing an event that combines culinary discoveries, shows and activities to celebrate together the year of the Wood Snake. It’s happening Saturday and Sunday, February 8-9 from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the side of Free Quarter under the large covered hall but not only because a stage will also be installed, in particular for the part of the shows that I detail below.
Chinese specialties, here you go ????
As for the specialties that we can eat, the list is long and very tempting: grilled ravioli, steamed ravioli, spring rolls, bubble teas, Cantonese rice, lamb skewers, fried chicken, tempuras, brioche, fondue and Chinese soup, fried noodles, shrimp fritters, malatang…
Local products to discover
Games, jewelry, accessories, products… Several stands will present their collection to you. ????
And entertainment/shows ????
From 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., you can enjoy different shows planned for the occasion:
-- 2 p.m.: midday dance
- 15h : danse de kung-fu
- 3:30 p.m.: mia dance
- 4 p.m.: dance of the intangible heritage of the Bai
- 4:30 p.m.: dance, the beauty of China
You will also be able to enjoy a beautiful musical atmosphere as well as various workshops: calligraphy, traditional dress, origami…
