Galaxy S25 Ultra: 16GB RAM variant may not be available globally

Multiple reports have confirmed that Samsung will ship the Galaxy S25 Ultra with up to 16GB of RAM. However, the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Plus will not benefit from this update. Today, X leaker @chunvn8888 has some bad news for potential Galaxy S25 Ultra buyers in select markets.

Apparently, the 16GB RAM version mentioned above will be limited to a handful of Asian markets such as China, South Korea, India, and Vietnam. In fact, users in North America, Europe, and other regions will have to make do with 12GB of RAM on their Galaxy S25 Ultra, just like they had to do with previous generations.

Furthermore, the 512GB and 1TB versions of the Galaxy S25 will be paired with 16GB of RAM, meaning you won’t have to shell out more money for the fancier model. As always, the above information is rumor and should be treated as such until Samsung officially confirms it. But we won’t have to wait long, because the Galaxy S25 trio will be presented in two days two days from its launch.
