The end of April 2024 was trying for Kendji Girac and his loved ones. The singer was seriously injured in the chest after accidentally taking a bullet during an argument with his wife. Fortunately, he escaped, revealing in the process his addictions to drugs and alcohol. This Tuesday, January 21, 2025, the artist Herbert Léonard was a guest on the Jordan de Luxe show and he did not fail to give his point of view on this incident which could have taken a truly tragic turn.
“Kendji Girac, I really like what this guy does,” he first said with admiration, before getting to the heart of the matter: “But I can’t understand that someone someone who is as drunk as he was could fall into alcohol, into cocaine, and on top of that shoot himself in the lung. Explain to me why, I don’t understand! …” Herbert Leonard then compared himself to him : “This guy, he had everything to be happy, and he did everything he shouldn’t do. Personally, apart from cigarettes, I had no other vice.”
Visibly disappointed by this bout of blood that Kendji Girac had when everything seemed to be smiling on him, the 79-year-old singer declared, without taking a pinch of salt: “Why?
