Hungry for sport, he grew up to the sound of Formula 1 engines and the exploits of Ronaldinho. Today, with a Master's degree in sports journalism, he no longer misses an Grand Prix or a PSG match, his two passions and specialties.

Arriving free during the summer of 2023, Marco Asensio never managed to really establish himself at PSG. Although sometimes performing well in a false nine role, the Spanish international has however been downgraded in recent weeks by Luis Enrique. A situation which had consequences on the price of the former Real Madrid player who saw his price plummet.

During the summer of 2023, the PSG had completely overhauled its squad by enlisting several new players to replace the stars who left that summer, such as Lionel Messi and Neymar. With this in mind, the capital club had enlisted Marco Asensiowho landed free from the Real Madrid.

Asensio's price plummeting

A very nice move on paper, but in reality, it doesn't seem to work. And for good reason, the Spanish international has never really established himself in the PSG despite some highlights in a false nine role. However, this season, Luis Enrique no longer seems to count on him at all and his playing time has melted like snow in the sun. Result, as pointed out Ok Diaryits price has also fallen. While its market value was around €90 million in 2018, Marco Asensio would only be worth €20M. Its lack of use by Luis Enrique therefore had an important consequence on the value of the Spaniard.

Asensio now pushed to the start?

Besides, Marco Asensio is now pushed to the start by the PSG who clearly no longer counts on him for the future. “ The arrival of Kvaratskhelia makes things very difficult for Asensio. PSG offered it to two Spanish teams. He offered it to FC Barcelona and Atlético de Madrid », even revealed Eduardo Inda on the set of Beach bar. However, the Spain international's salary poses a problem, while it seems unlikely that a club would drop €20m for Marco Asensio.
