Such figures might suggest the worst about pricing, but the wait is (almost) over with the launch of the Belgian configurator. The opportunity to discover the range, prices and options.

Prices in line with the declarations

Let us point out above all that the French prices, which should fall in the coming weeks, could differ slightly from these Belgian prices.

During the presentation, DS announced a price for the version with 750 km of autonomy “under 65,000 euros”before telling us that the first prize would be below 60,000 euros.

Were they right? Absolutely: in Belgium, the DS N°8 begins at 58 025,99 euros very precisely with a range of 571 km according to the WLTP cycle. Remember that the No. 8 takes the platform of the Peugeot E-3008 and therefore recovers the 73 kWh battery.

For these famous 750 km of autonomy, the large battery is required, which increases the price of access to 62 337,99 euros – under 65,000 euros, therefore. Note also the arrival of the four-wheel drive version of 350 chcapable of going from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.4 s, at 73 901,99 euros – only the high-end version is available, obviously driving up prices.

Not given, but well placed

Remember that the DS N°8 range is quite simple, since it is divided into only two finishes : Pallas and Star. The Pallas offers you 19-inch rims, imitation leather upholstery, a connected 16-inch central screen, and even adaptive cruise control.

The Star finish will cost you an additional 7,056 euros; a hell of an effort, therefore, but which will give you access to matrix projectors, an Alcantara-covered interior, head-up vision or even hands-free entry and start.

Option packs are there to enhance your N°8, but it’s a shame that only five colorsall quite dull (black, white, two grays, dark blue), are available. A two-tone, which can cover the roof or even extend to the hood, is however available.

Faced with the competition, the DS N°8 is not doing so badly. In Belgium, the Volkswagen ID.7 starts from 60,165 euros with 618 km of autonomy and requires 62,565 euros to access the 702 km of WLTP autonomy.

L’Audi A6 e-tronfor its part, asks 64,900 euros for 622 km of autonomy or 76,800 euros for the 750 km version, still in Belgium. The BMW i4, finally, requires 57,600 euros minimum for 500 km of autonomy.

A few more weeks to confirm this trend with the publication of French prices. In Belgium, DS announces deliveries from mid-June; consistent, therefore, with the initial announcements, which spoke of the “beginning of the second half of 2025”.
