In Hammam Lif (Ben Arous governorate), a man, his wife and their child died on Monday, suffocated in their home following a domestic gas leak, according to initial reports.
As soon as they were informed of the incident, civil protection agents went to the scene where they managed to rescue two other members of the family (two girls) and transport them
at the Urgent Medical Assistance and Resuscitation Center (CAMU) of Montfleury in Tunis and the Ben Arous regional hospital (El Yasminet) to receive the necessary care.
According to the regional director of civil protection of Ben Arous, Najmeddine Belhaj Mohamed, the bodies of the victims were handed over to the competent authorities for autopsy and continuation of legal legal procedures.
