Football: Lionel Messi’s anger at Mexican fans during a friendly match

A return to the field and already a little controversy for Lionel Messi. During a friendly match against Club America with Inter Miami, the Argentinian thoroughly entertained the supporters of the opposing team present at the Stadium.

Scorer during this meeting finally won on penalties by the MLS franchise, the former Saint-Germain player took advantage of a moment of euphoria after a goal to appear in front of the kop of Mexican supporters. He first turned to his back and repeatedly showed his name, written at the top of his jersey. He then faced the audience again and repeatedly mimed the number three with his hands, before sending a “0” in the direction, three being the number of World Cup trophies won by the Argentine selection (1978, 1986, 2022).

A celebration which was logically not to the liking of the supporters but also of certain Mexican players. “I admired you as a player, but the fact that you attacked my country shows your lack of professionalism and education,” striker Adolfo “Bofo” Bautista wrote on Instagram.
