Significant emergency resources were dispatched this Monday morning shortly after 8:00 a.m. to the Rodange PED, near the Belgian-Luxembourg border, where a fire was reported in a packaging factory.
The industrial zone of the European Development Pole (PED) of Rodange, a stone’s throw from the Belgian border, was the scene of an impressive deployment of fire engines this Monday morning.

The police had made several appeals to motorists to be vigilant in the area of Avenue de l’Europe not far from the factory. The N31 in the sextor of Käerjeng/Pétange and the N830 towards the Belgian border (Aubange) should be avoided at all costs.
