Vítor Bruno’s tenure at FC Porto is over. Appointed first team coach last summer following the departure of Sergio Conceiçãothe 42-year-old technician was thanked by his management last night, a few hours after the blue and whites lost on Gil Vicente’s pitch (3-1). It was already their eighth defeat of the season, and the third in 2025, in as many matches played.
In a (very) short press release published on its websiteFC Porto announced the termination of the coach’s contract, which initially ran until June 2026: “ FC Porto informs that it has initiated negotiations with coach Vítor Bruno for the termination, with immediate effects, of his sports employment contract, which came into force at the start of the current season. »
