Owen Beck recalled from the Laval Rocket

MONTREAL – The Canadiens announced Sunday afternoon that they had recalled forward Owen Beck from the Laval Rocket in the American Hockey League.

The 20-year-old forward is spectacular in his first year as a professional, ranked fourth among AHL rookies thanks to 25 points in 37 games in a Rocket uniform.

Beck made his NHL debut on January 28, 2023, after Montreal issued an emergency recall of the forward, who was then playing with the Peterborough Petes in the Ontario Hockey League.

Beck was selected by the Canadiens in the second round (33rd overall) of the 2022 NHL Entry Draft.
