In Laval (Mayenne), 93.10% of self-service electric scooters have “compliant parking”. That is to say that they are well parked, in a parking space allocated to them. This is what the Bird company, provider of these scooters, has just revealed in its 2024 report.
The scooters made 15 round trips from Paris to New York
We also learn that last year “97,270 journeys (or 266 per day)” were carried out with this means of transport, covering 229,389 km. But also that “5.49 tonnes of CO2 were thus avoided. Since the launch of the service in Laval, 2021, this figure would increase to 15.89 tonnes, i.e. “15 round trips Paris – New York”.
-Finally, in 2024, 1,455 active users were identified, i.e. “who use the service at least once a month”, Bird says.
