Every year, thousands of Russians immerse their heads in cold waters to celebrate Epiphany. They thus commemorate the baptism of Jesus Christ in the Jordan. This year some Russians had to swim in water contaminated by an oil spill. For several days, the south of the country has been ravaged by hundreds of tonnes of liters of oil, which are spilling along the Black Sea, in the Krasnodar region.
