Last night, TF1 broadcast the second semi-final of Star Academy, hosted by Nikos Aliagas. This decisive evening opposed Franck has Ebonyeach aspiring to join Marine in the final.
The evening began with an energetic duet from Franck and Ebony on “Last Dance” by Donna Summer. Among the highlights, Ebony performed “7 Seconds” alongside Youssou N’Dour, while Franck shared the stage with Marc Lavoine on “Elle a les yeux revolver”. Both also accompanied Zaz on a medley of his hits.
-Ebony delivered a moving rendition of “Ne me judez pas” by Camille Lellouche, and Franck sensitively covered “Commeils dit” by Charles Aznavour. Their duet on Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep” was also praised.
After remarkable performances, the public voted to qualify Ebony in the final, thus eliminating Franck from the competition. The final will therefore pit Ebony against Marine on Saturday January 25, 2025.
