Snoop Dogg Responds After Fans Slam Him For Playing Trump’s Crypto Ball

Snoop Dogg has responded after being widely criticized for his performance at Donald Trump’s first Crypto Ball.

The rapper headlined the event on Friday, in front of a mix of celebrities and politicians.

The event was organized to show the president-elect’s support for cryptocurrency and to confirm his commitment to integrating bitcoin into the country’s financial systems.

Snoop, whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr, performed Nuthin’ but a G Thang at the party. After posting a clip of his performance on Instagram, he was criticized by his fans.

“This is culturally embarrassing and disrespectful,” one person wrote.

“Even Snoop Dogg knelt before Donald Trump. Never thought I’d see this,” wrote another.

The rapper has since responded to the criticism by reposting a video of his colleague at the event, Rick Ross.

In the video, Snoop says, “I got a real Crip in the Crypto Ball, bang bang,” before flashing a peace sign and smiling at the camera.

The 53-year-old rapper has already made fun of Donald Trump.

In 2017, he released a video for his song Lavender, which showed him pointing a gun at a clown dressed like Trump. He pulled the trigger to reveal a red flag with the word BANG. Trump responded to the clip by saying Snoop should be arrested.

However, last year the rapper praised the new president, saying he “has done nothing but great things” for him.
