During a question and answer session organized on his Instagram account, the theater teacher of season twelve of Star Academy allows himself to make some revelations… such as the identity of the best student in his class!
For this twelfth season of the Star Academythe champion of theatrical improvisation Hugues Hamelynck took over from Pierre de Brauer on the teaching bench. Throughout the season, he developed numerous exercises with the aim of bringing the academicians out of their shells. Imitations, improvisations, competitions for attention, his course was a gold mine of moments that quickly became cult. Hugues Hamelynck is well and truly aware of this: not everyone can be comfortable with the theater. His work mainly consisted of helping his students accept letting go and the honest outpouring of their emotions. And in this game, it seems that Hugues Hamelynck has chosen a big winner!
Who is the best theater student at the Star Academy according to Hugues Hamelynck?
During a series of question/answer stories published on January 16, 2025, the Belgian theater teacher revealed the identity of the woman he considered to be the most gifted in his course. And it is, without much surprise, Marguerite ! Although he does not name it, strictly speaking, Hugues Hamelynck posted a photo of a small daisy (the flower and not the pupil!), and wrote on it a sober “An index?” under a subscriber’s question: “Of all the students, who has the most talent for theater?”. Doubt therefore has no real place. The mystery, if there really was one, is therefore lifted!

Marguerite was a step ahead in this matter
If Marguerite regularly doubted her legitimacy as a singer, she never expressed the slightest doubt regarding her abilities in theater. The young artist from the Paris region has made no secret of her training in the subject on the benches of Cours Florent. His work in casting direction is only an extension of this, as well as his appearances in high-profile audiovisual projects, such as for example one of the advertising spots for the summer 2024 sports games, in alongside Zinédine Zidane. If the start of her career will be behind a microphone, it’s a safe bet that she will continue in parallel on stage or in front of a camera, and with the blessing of Hugues Hamelynck!
