Algeria Football– Montpellier Hérault Sport Club has officially made a loan request for Algerian striker Andy Delort. This proposal was confirmed by the president of MC Algiers, Hadj Redjem, who is preparing to meet the team’s coach, Khaled Ben Yahia, to discuss the feasibility of this operation.
Andy Delort, currently under contract with MC Alger, has attracted interest from his former club, Montpellier, where he played successfully before joining Algeria. The Hérault club, looking for offensive reinforcements for the second half of the season, sees Delort as an ideal option to boost its attack. With his experience and his ability to score decisive goals, Delort represents a valuable asset for Montpellier, which wishes to strengthen its squad without incurring large expenses.
President Hadj Redjem indicated that the final decision regarding Delort’s departure on loan will be taken after a strategic meeting with Khaled Ben Yahia. The latter, aware of the importance of the striker for MC Alger, will have to assess the sporting implications of a possible departure. The MCA, involved in several competitions this season, will not take this decision lightly, especially as Delort plays a key role in the team’s attack.
This loan request also illustrates the close links between Andy Delort and Montpellier, where he left an indelible mark. However, MC Algiers remains in control of the decision and will have to weigh the advantages of such a temporary transfer.
Supporters of both clubs are impatiently awaiting the outcome of this meeting, which could influence the rest of the season for Montpellier and MC Alger. A decision is expected in the coming days.
