Bayern Munich offers Wolfsburg, Myron Boadu frustrates Leipzig

Solid leader of the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich had the opportunity to consolidate their throne this Saturday in the event of a home victory against Wolfsburg. Putting on the pressure from the start by chaining together dangerous chances, the Bavarians logically opened the scoring thanks to a clear strike from Leon Goretzka who entered using the post (21st). However, the reaction of the visitors was not long in coming and the equalizer came from a curling shot from Mohamed Amoura after a set piece (1-1, 24th). Vincent Kompany’s men then sought to regain the advantage and this came from a long shot from Michael Olise, helped by Grabara’s hand fault (39th). A few minutes later, Joshua Kimmich thought he would add to the score but the German was guilty with one hand. Sovereign in the second half, Bayern obtained this third goal thanks to the untenable Goretzka, author of a double this evening (62nd). Mohamed Amoura also scored twice at the end of the match but the Algerian could not prevent Wolfsburg’s defeat against a superior Bayern who consolidated their first place by temporarily taking a seven-point lead over Bayer Leverkusen .

For its part, Leipzig is no longer fifth following its hiccup at bottom Bochum. Quickly taking the lead thanks to three goals in 21 minutes from Orban, Nusa and Baumgartner, the RBL collapsed in the second half under the threat of a fiery Myron Boadu. A monumental flop in Monaco, the Dutchman scored a hat-trick in 13 minutes to hold Leipzig in check and give Bochum a precious point in the quest to maintain. Leipzig is therefore no longer fourth following the large success of Stuttgart at the same time (4-0). Well above their opponents from Fribourg, Deniz Undav’s teammates are therefore fourth. In an important match for maintenance, Hoffenheim sought a valuable success at promoted Holstein Kiel thanks in particular to an important double from Adam Hlozek (1-3). Finally, Sankt Pauli won on the Heidenheim field. While the equalizing goal was refused for Heidenheim, Morgan Guilavogui completed the success of the promoted team at the end of the match (0-2).
