A fatal accident occurred on Friday evening in the town of Bas-en-Basset, in Haute-Loire. The driver of a car lost control and died.
This is the first fatal accident in Haute-Loire this year.
Friday January 17, a little after 8 p.m., a motorist in his thirties lost control of his vehicle on the RD46, at Bass-en-Basset.
The driver is dead
While leaving the road, the driver hit a tree on the left side of the road. According to Le Progrès, the firefighters were unable to do anything on the spot: the man died.
Traffic was cut off on the RD46 during the intervention and the police opened an investigation to find out the precise circumstances of this tragedy.
