But the suspension of these rebates – or, at the very least, their reduction – does not take away from the substantial energy savings that EVs allow. In addition, manufacturers continue to introduce new models in all niches, from small city cars to full-size pickup trucks and SUVs of all sizes.
Whether you have already decided to make the leap to electric or your curiosity is simply piqued, you can now take advantage of the Montreal Auto Show to try out a brand new EV! With the collaboration of CAA-Quebec and the charging station manufacturer PowerQ, the Show offers no fewer than 25 models for the tenth edition of this activity. As always, tests are free for everyone aged 25 and over who holds a valid driver’s license.
If you pass by the Palais des congrès de Montréal between now and January 26, don’t miss the opportunity to experience one of the models below. Simply stop at the registration kiosk located in Hall Viger to reserve your 30-minute time slot behind the wheel of one of these EVs, which include several spectacular new features this year.
In addition, take the opportunity to ask your questions about EVs to CAA-Quebec experts. They will be present throughout the show just before entering the main exhibition hall, on level 2 of the Palais des congrès. It will also be an opportunity to discover the organization’s products and services for electromobilists!
