Fake Brad Pitt scam: “It’s a descent into hell”, Anne’s daughter defends her mother, victim of “hate” on the networks

Anne, 53, was the victim of a scam on social networks. A scammer took 830,000 euros from her by pretending to be Brad Pitt in love with her. While she is the subject of numerous taunts on social networks, her daughter Margot comes to her defense.

She would never have thought of such a scam, and yet it happened. Anne, interior designer, mother with an uneventful life, fell into a love scam worthy of a Hollywood script. A scammer, who pretended to be Brad Pitt and told her he was madly in love with her, took 830,000 euros from her.

The fifty-year-old told her story openly in Seven to Eight on TF1, Sunday January 12, 2025.

Since the subject was broadcast, Anne has been the subject of numerous taunts on social networks, so much so that the show removed the report from all its platforms the following Tuesday.

“The report broadcast this Sunday (January 12, 2025) sparked a wave of harassment against a witness. For the protection of the victims, we have decided to remove it from our platforms”could we read on account X from Seven to Eight.

“She doesn’t deserve”

“She doesn’t deserve to be manipulated already and she doesn’t deserve all this hatred on social networks”supports his daughter, Margot, in an interview which is to be broadcast this Saturday January 18 in La Grande Semaine on M6, and an extract of which appeared Friday on RTL.

“It’s very complicated”

“We talk every day, we call each other every day”explains the young woman, notably taken up by BFM. “There, it’s the descent into hell. Already, after all this story, for a year and a half, it was very complicated for her and for us quite simply.”

Margot also explains receiving “a lot of messages, a lot of hatred. Obviously, it makes me feel worse. It’s very complicated, very difficult psychologically and morally”continues the one who supports her mother in the turmoil. The entire interview can be found this Saturday in “La Grande Semaine”, on M6, at 5:45 p.m.
