Friends of Heritage and the association of amateur photographers Plein format, present the exhibition Trégunc Yesterday-Todayat the Terre marine space, in Trégunc (Finistère), until 1is February 2025. You can discover 120 old and current photos accompanied by historical notices, on 19 panels

“The exhibition of the century”
It took them a year of work to concoct “the exhibition of the century”, according to Loïc Le Goff. This return to the past begins in the era of megaliths and continues into the streets of the town, towards the village of Saint-Philibert, Pouldohan or even the tip of Trévignon.

The Plein Format photographers took photos to illustrate the transformations that occurred between the photos of the 20e century and today. For this delicate exercise, it was necessary to pay particular attention to the camera angles. For example, to capture the entrance to the town of Saint-Philibert, several passages were necessary. This work offers a perspective on the evolution of the urban landscape
recalls Rolland Picard, who was responsible for shaping the panels.
A collaborative work woven by around fifteen volunteers from Friends of Heritage and Plein Format which will find its audience among young and old. Especially since the short texts invite the public to go further. The opportunity to discover the history of the hotel-restaurant-butchery-charcuterie run by Corentin Canevet, in the rue de Saint-Philibert or the family beach of Pors Breign, literally “rotten port”.
New projects
Friends of Heritage are finalizing a booklet linked to the celebrations of May 8, 1945. The model is finished. It will be printed at the end of March and made available to the public in April. 600 copies of 56 pages will be available, at €10, at the tourist office and during our Saturday morning hours
