To help the affected residents of Los Angeles, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle did not hesitate to help out by going to the scene of the tragedy. If they were once again criticized, they were able to count on the support of a loved one.
The time for solidarity has come. Faced with fires destroying the city of Los AngelesCalifornians are doing everything they can to help themselves. Laeticia Hallyday, whose house in Pacific Palisades was completely reduced to ashes, was able to find refuge with a close friend, Christina. The latter is not the only one to have opened the doors of her home for the affected residents. This is the case of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who invited several of their friends to join them in their Montecito mansion.
And even if this neighborhood is now also on red alert, Archie and Lilibet’s parents have chosen to work for the good of the community by distributing food and supplies to an association. “They are great people, great personalities and a big heart who came here to meet with first responders and meet those affected. They want to be as helpful as possible… We visited some of the affected families in some of the burned areas of Pasadena and Altadena. They took the time to meet and spend time with those affected. They are very caring people who care about their friends and neighbors” Pasadena Mayor Victor Gordo told local news channel Fox 11.
-Jennie Bond, journalist specializing in crowned heads, supports Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
Except that some do not view this outpouring of solidarity very favorably. This is the case of the actress Desperate Housewives Justine Bateman who described “disgusting” the photo of Harry and Meghanwhere we see the former actress hugging a volunteer. Justine Bateman pressed where it hurts, saying the Duchess of Sussex “seeks attention”, as reported by Mirror. A situation that Jennie Bond, specialist in the royal family, deplores.
“I find it worrying that almost everything they do today is still criticizedin my opinion quite unfairly. They could have remained holed up in their safe haven of Montecito while much of California burned. (…) Meghan could have let her new show air as planned (…) Whatever they do, someone sees them as cynical, which must be disheartening”, underlined this expert. For the latter, there is no shadow of a doubt, the detractors of Harry and Meghan “need to move on”. Not sure this warning is enough…
