After two 4th places, Fredrik Möller even celebrated his first World Cup victory during the last Super-G. The calm Norwegian also surprised the Swiss with his performance.
When Möller finished fourth in the Beaver Creek super-G, it was assumed that he had benefited from better conditions, like other runners with higher starting numbers. It was therefore all the more surprising that he finished 4th again in Val Gardena/Gröden between Marco Odermatt and Stefan Rogentin. And since Bormio achieved a time with bib 4 that no other skier had achieved, it is clear that Möller is not a prodigy.
When the Lauberhorn races open with the Super-G at 12:30 p.m., Fredrik Möller could play the role of spoiler from the Swiss point of view.
