A Frenchman at the head of Belgium. According to newspaper information The Teamthe Belgian Football Federation has decided to part ways with Domenic Tedesco, its coach. The decision would even have been ratified several weeks ago but the negotiations would not have been successful.
The Belgians are therefore looking for a new coach and two French people hold the rope.
One knows the selection well and the other is more unexpected. The first name is that of Thierry Henry who held the position of assistant to Roberto Martinez twice (2016-2018 and 2021-2022). But the media and advertising contracts of the former top scorer of the Blues would complicate the situation.
The other name is that of Rudi Garcia, according to The Team and the Belgian daily The evening. Free since his dismissal from Naples in November 2023, the former coach of OM and OL would be popular across Quiévrain where no one would have forgotten his double championship – Coupe de France with Lille during the 2010 season – 2011.
