The first Unifrance Distribution Prize was awarded, January 15, 2025, on the occasion of Unifrance meeting in Paris, by Charles Tesson, president of the Commission for Selective Aid for Distribution, and Daniela Elstner, General Director of Unifrance.
The South Korean distribution company Green Narae, represented by Chris Yu, Director of Acquisitions, won this award for the South Korean release campaign for The Passion of Dodin Bouffant, by Trần Anh Hùng, a sold-out film. by Gaumont.
Charles Tesson was keen to welcome, on behalf of the entire selective distribution aid commission, two other remarkable campaigns: that of the German company Neue Visionen for the release of La Nouvelle Femme, by Léa Todorov, and that of the Japanese company Gaga for the release of Boléro by Anne Fontaine. It is nevertheless the relevance and originality of the campaign carried out on social networks by Green Narae, as well as the targeting of a young audience, which distinguished the campaign for The Passion of Dodin Bouffant.
Daniela Elstner underlined that with this award, “Unifrance, with the support of the CNC, wanted to highlight the work of Green Narae distributors for an innovative marketing campaign.”
-Chris Yu warmly thanked Unifrance and the CNC for this distinction which he intends to win again next year!
