François Bayrou launches consultation with social partners

Hello and welcome to this live dedicated to the consultation on pensions which opens this Friday when François Bayrou receives the social partners.

The invitation launched to trade unions and employers’ organizations is sober: an email, sent Wednesday evening, to invite them to a “consultation of social partners” at 11 a.m. at the Ministry of Labor, in the presence of the Prime Minister.

The terms of this meeting were still being debated on Thursday. “It evolves over the hours and it’s quite destabilizing,” said Medef (employership) president Patrick Martin on Thursday morning on France Inter. “All of this is not very well organized,” a union source joked to AFP.
