Scheduled for the first quarter of 2025, the new series about the blind Marvel hero, played by Charlie Cox, is positioned as the sequel to the successful Netflix series (with the same actor).
But its arrival was not the most peaceful, since it was almost canceled: in fact, after filming half of the episodes, Marvel decided that the production was not going in the right direction! A setback that was narrowly avoided, but season 4 of Daredevil will only offer 9 episodes.
While waiting for its release in March 2025, fans would like to take a look at a small trailer, but the trailer is long overdue.
Remember that the series, highly anticipated by fans, takes up the story of Daredevil, as told in the series developed by Netflix. This season, which is like season 4 of the original series, finds the characters a few years later.
The original actors reprise their respective roles, so we can count on the presence of Charlie Cox, Elden Henson, Deborah Ann Woll and Jon Bernthal and Vincent D’Onofrio. This will allow the series initiated by Netflix to integrate into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) developed by Disney.
No trailer for Daredevil on Disney+ yet?
Questioned by a fan on X (twitter) it was Vincent D’Onofrio who responded about the upcoming arrival of a trailer for the series.
The actor, who plays the role of Wilson Fisk / KingPin, indicated that, at the moment, the attention was focused more on the devastation of the Los Angeles region by forest fires (which have already lasted for several days) than on the upcoming arrival of a trailer for Daredevil.
According to TechradarMarvel must believe that releasing a promotional video at a time when Los Angeles and Hollywood are being ravaged by flames would be inappropriate. Let’s not forget that Hollywood is the heart of the American film industry and that many series and films are filmed there.
This delay in the arrival of the trailer, while there are less than two months before the release of the series, tends to worry fans of the hero. It must be said that for the moment, they have only had access to a few images, but no more than 30 seconds in total.
The first seconds are hidden in the middle of the Marvel 85th anniversary video (video released in August 2024). Then, around twenty seconds were revealed during the launch of the 2025 television programs.
Of course, no release date for the trailer has been given, so fans will have to be patient.
