Patrick Péloquin “touched to the highest degree” by the fire at ESBG

The mayor of Sorel-Tracy, Patrick Péloquin, reacted, on Facebook and on our microphone, to the fire which caused heavy damage to the Bernard-Gariépy secondary school on Tuesday. Mr. Péloquin, who worked at this school before his election as mayor and whose two daughters teach there, said he was deeply touched by this fire which fortunately caused no injuries. He praised the professionalism and dedication of all the staff and management of the ESBG as well as the hard work of the firefighters.
