A fire broke out at the Aubel Free School
This Wednesday morning, a fire broke out at the Aubel Free School. Firefighters from the Vesdre-Hoëgne & Plateau Zone intervened on the scene.
The fire apparently started in an electrical box and spread to a classroom. The roof was not damaged. The children (nursery and primary) and staff were transferred to the sports hall. Parents were contacted and invited to come pick up their child(ren). Fortunately, there were no injuries.
