Start of fire at the Pataterie

A fire broke out this evening at the La Pataterie restaurant located at 189 Victoria in Valleyfield.

When the first firefighters arrived, flames and thick smoke were coming from the roof. The fire was quickly brought under control and the damage caused by water and smoke was significant. A large security perimeter in the surrounding streets is in place, avoid the area.
