Severe fine for the supplementary pension fund for employees of justice commissioners

Five hundred thousand euros. This is the significant amount of the fine imposed by the Prudential Control and Resolution Authority, the ACPR, on the Supplementary Pension Fund for Employees of Justice Commissioners (Carco). As a bonus, this “niche” mutual, founded in 1961, receives a reprimand, like at school, which has a rather bad effect for an insurance organization supposed to manage the retirement of thousands of employees, including lawyers and clerics. These legal professionals are or have made a career within the studies of justice commissioners, the new name dedicated to bailiffs and judicial auctioneers since the merger of these professions in 2019.
