In a statement, the Kremlin said the negotiations were expected to focus on expanding bilateral relations, including in the areas of trade and investment, transport and logistics, as well as humanitarian affairs, while addressing current issues on the regional and international agenda.
The Kremlin added that at the end of these negotiations, Vladimir Putin and Massoud Pezeshkian will sign the comprehensive strategic partnership agreement between Russia and Iran and make statements to the media.
