Drama twist: Noah Okafor’s loan to Leipzig fails after medical examination

Noah Okafor (24) will not join RB Leipzig. AC Milan’s loan of the Swiss international striker fell through after the medical examination, according to German media.

Okafor arrived on Monday at Leipzig, who were to recruit him on loan with an option to buy. But club officials changed their mind after the medical examination, believing that the player was not 100% and in condition to be able to help the team immediately.

The Swiss injured his calf in December, but has since returned to training with AC Milan. He has now returned to Italy.
