The 2025 Wakker Prize awarded to Poschiavo GR
The municipality of Poschiavo, in Graubünden, takes advantage of its peripheral location as an opportunity and combines autonomy, building culture and sustainable development to make it a model mountain. For the members of the Wakker Prize commission, the city is a model of the future for mountain regions. Historic buildings, contemporary architecture, innovative projects as well as a local cultural offer create a remarkable quality of life and fight against the rural exodus.
