HIBAPRESS-RABAT
Algeria is more and more isolated and will lose its compass after, precisely, the last visit of the Mauritanian president to Rabat and the Emirates and yesterday again a historic visit to Nouakchott of the Senegalese Prime Minister Mr. Ousmane Sonko, who through this visit marks the true friendship which links Senegal to Mauritania, punctuated by very positive talks but which also sets in motion a certain futuristic vision of the two countries after the unprecedented agreement concerning the joint exploitation of the gas and oil well on the border of the two countries
Still, Senegalese-Mauritanian relations augur a better future based on mutual trust and laudable prospects for both nations, far from the random Algerian policy based mainly on bluffing.
To better establish this lasting friendship and on an official visit to Nouakchott, the Senegalese Prime Minister Mr. Ousmane Sonko arrived yesterday Sunday January 12, 2025, in the afternoon, in Mauritania, for a friendship and working visit which will last until tomorrow January 14.
-On his arrival at Nouakchott international airport, he was welcomed with honors by his Mauritanian counterpart Mr. Moctar OULD DIAY, accompanied by several authorities of the country.
This trip is part of the strengthening of exemplary bilateral relations between Senegal and Mauritania. Apart from the planned ministerial meetings, meetings with the Senegalese community and Mauritanian employers will mark the agenda of Prime Minister Ousmane SONKO.
