A fire devastates a stud farm in Waasmunster: at least 17 horses lost their lives

“The stud farm is internationally renowned. It is the life work of its owners. We are wholeheartedly at their side and will do everything to help them,” said Mayor Jurgen Bauwens. The neighbors also showed solidarity.

“Spontaneously, farmers and other horse breeders offered places in their stables. The colleagues of the affected owners understand the seriousness of the facts and opened their doors to the victims. I can only be grateful to them,” concluded the mayor from Waasmunster.
