Osaka wins on the wire against Garcia in Melbourne

Naomi Osaka won against Caroline Garcia this Monday in Melbourne with a score of 6-3, 3-6, 6-3. The Japanese takes her revenge on last year, when Garcia beat her at the same stage of the competition.

After a first set mastered by Osaka, Garcia was able to get back to a set everywhere.

In the third set, the Japanese broke early, and despite four break points, Garcia never managed to catch up.

In the second round, she will face Karolina Muchova.
