Former FDP Chairman Rolf Schweiger said this

Former Zug State Councilor Rolf Schweiger has died. He died on Saturday at the age of 80 in Baar ZG.

A spokesperson for the FDP in the canton of Zug confirmed a corresponding report from “Blick” on Monday. FDP Chairman Thierry Burkart praised Schweiger to Keystone-SDA as an “impressive personality” with precise, intelligent and astute arguments as well as a great sense of humor.

Schweiger served on the FDP State Council from March 1999 to December 2011. In 2004 he also served as chairman for seven months. (stamp/nos)
